Each week, The Salvation Army of Porter County provides assistance to those who need it, and spiritual support to anyone who seeks it. Please come in and find out what opportunities we have for you!

The Porter County Salvation Army provides many types of assistance programs to the people facing crisis situations. We offer spiritual, social and budget counseling along with rent assistance, mortgage, utility, fire & disaster victims, and other emergency needs. Our Pathway of Hope program provides support to families seeking to make positive changes toward specific goals. Please call to make an appointment.

Our Food Pantry is available (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to anyone in our community who needs to supplement their groceries (please make an appointment to access the food pantry).

We also distribute bread, milk & pizza daily, 10:00AM to Noon (donors include Panera Bread, Lewis Bakery, Bob Evans and Starbucks).

There are a variety of seasonal assistance programs for those who need help at special times of year.
